Blogging Is A Useful Element of English Classroom

In the technologically advanced world of the 21st century, even academic subjects can find uses for technology. Thus, I agree with the statement "blogging is a useful element of the english classroom."Set in a digital world, writing has to be shared and no longer in journals. When writing material, people now want an audience to read their work. The blog provides the space for anyone to share their thoughts or work and anyone all over the world will be able to access it. Furthermore, as said by Lorelle, "Your blog is your unedited version of yourself". Students are afraid to write because they feel they cannot be themselves or they will be criticized. The blog then proves useful in English, for it provides students a space where they can be as expressive as they want. They dont' have to conform to the expectations or criteria of others. Consequently, this leads to an increase in the amount of work that students produce in english and Through writing in larger quantities, students will develop a more concise, more eloquent writing voice. Thus, from writing to an unspecific audience and providing students a platform to just be themselves, blogging is a useful element of the english classroom.
